In an effort to educate our clients on proper wig care, we have developed this section of our website. We hope you will find it informative and useful.

Washing Instructions for Synthetic Wigs

1. Brush your synthetic wig gently using our recommended brush, which was designed for synthetic coverage.
2. Fill a basin with cold water (never use hot, warm or lukewarm water).
3. Place 2 capfuls of wig shampoo in the water and mix gently, being careful to keep foam bubbles to a minimum.
4. Soak the wig in the basin for 30 minutes. Do not swirl, scrub or brush the wig when wet.
5. Rinse wig under running water until water runs through free of shampoo and foam bubbles.
6. Replace water in basin and add a capful of wig conditioner. Soak in conditioner for 5 minutes.
7. Rinse wig under running water until water runs through free of conditioner.
8. Blot the wig dry with a towel; do not squeeze or twist the wig to get water out.
9. Place your wig on a wig stand or Styrofoam wig head.
10. Use your fingers to gently position the wig fibers into the desired style.
11. Let air dry for 2 hours. Do not use a brush until the wig is totally dry and never use a blower (hot or cold).
12. When the wig is totally dry, proceed to gently brush it into the desired style.

Caution

• Wash your wig as little as possible.
• Do not use a hair dryer or curling iron.
• Protect your wig from heat when cooking, as your wig has been prestyled during manufacturing.
• Synthetic wig fiber cannot be colored or toned.
